Sugarshack Mushrooms is a year-round, family-run organic mushroom farm in New Paltz, NY. We are devoted to growing nutrient-dense gourmet and medicinal specialty mushrooms. We grow sustainably in the forest, and in our historic barn and passive solar greenhouse. Since 2018, we have been supplying the Hudson Valley with a wide variety of quality mushrooms.
You can find our fresh mushrooms through our seasonal CSA, our farm stand, farmer’s markets and local wholesalers year-round (contact us for details).
We also focus on producing high quality mushroom tincture, grow-your-own mushrooms kits, spawn for home mushroom growers, and seasonal mushroom growing workshops. We are grateful for the ongoing support of our CSA members and the mushroom loving community.
Land Acknowledgment
Sugarshack mushrooms is an uninvited guest on the stolen indigenous lands of the Esopus [es-SOAP-es] tribe which is part of the Munsee speaking Lenni-Lenape people. Their lands include what we now refer to as Ulster and Sullivan counties.
